Not very enamoured by this.... my image at this point was pretty bad, though I hadn't shown anything down VS him, just a few early bluffs then some big hands that he folded. He's 19/14 but aggressive and somewhat bluffy postflop. I guess play it as the top of my c-call range?

Same villain as above, I think my PF 4bet is fine/ standard. Flop, it's CRAI, or bet call. I went for bet call, I think CRAI is very transparent and by playing the hand in the opposite of a draw as part of my nut portion I fold out better aces on the flop that maybe just check down. Betsizing was important, leaving me maximum FE on the turn with around a potsize bet.

I enjoyed the above hand... man, it's taken me months of overbet shoving all kinds of draws and semi bluffs and pure equity-less bluffs to realise that overbet shoving *makes no sense* and always gets called. Creativity baby....

Ok, the above hand is a very standard flop call. I went for a raise/call. Reason? Well, protection vs 6 outs is one I guess. In addition, there's a least a chance of worse draws shoving, and given I have SD value it means I win. So, I'm 38% VS QQ, which isn't terrible with the money in the pot. I think the times he bet folds A6 maybe make it a decent raise, but I'm a little unsure. It's different from standard though, so I like it. It stops me getting barreled off when an Ace or K hits as well, meaning I win VS pure bluffs whereas sometimes maybe I get bluffed off of the best hand. Not bad maybe, but maybe not optimal.

Sesion 5 coming up after a drink....

JJ - With your image are you not better off 3-betting the JJ preflop? I like calling there a lot personally, but I imagine you can get a ton of value by 3-betting. Postflop seems a little light as I don't think he's going to be going crazy on this board when you donk. You really do rep plenty of good hands by donk/3-betting. Check-raise also seems thin as, again, you're repping a strong range and he's not going to go crazy. Check/calling probably is best, although it pains me on these boards as they get so messy.

A5s - I think I prefer a bigger bet on the flop so that the turn shove isn't quite as big. It might just be the way I think, but if I'm sweety I'm much less happy calling 490 into 680 than I am calling a pot shove (with something like TT I'm talking). Most 2/4 regs might be the opposite though so whatever you think's right. I like bet flop shove turn either way.

A3s - I'm not sure what I think about this tbh. It seems like the flop is a huge reverse equity spot. he can barrel so many draws, you rarely have a super strong hand when check calling, and even if you're good now and get to the river for no more bets you won't always be good on the river. Given that I think he's going to make it hard to get to showdown, I feel like check calling the turn is better. I mean, you have history obviously so in this specific spot jamming might be best, but in general I feel like c/c again is better. Interested to see what you think about that.

55 - Certainly not bad. I like it more if you think he doesn't 3-bet a lot of his overpair hands (as you can play so well if he just flats out of position). You played the turn well.
