Ok I play this one weird, but essentially by doing this I a) lose less than calling turn and river. b) get value from his draws and stop him bluffing the river that I might fold. So, I guess I'm saying I get to showdown relatively cheaply. It only gets bad I think when he's going to be shoving draws on the turn.
