Session Review

Reasonably happy. Towards the end I lost 100bbs twice in quick succession, and although there was 15 minutes left on the clock, and I wasn't at the stoploss (therefore leaving me some wiggleroom to continue the session) I made a good decision to snap quit. I was rewarded by immediately winning 100bbs back in a cooler spot.

I went over the big hands in detail with Chris at the end so I won't repeat the analysis. I'll do quick cliffs tho:

Remarkably in the above hand, if we stove a range of TT, QJs (about the only flush possible) and AK I have 32% and odds to call this shove. Throw in 2 combos of worse or bluff and it's clearly profitable. One for the cooler bank.

This hand is much more controversial than I initially thought. Arlord is a crazy fish on a medium term heater. I'm happy with my assumptions on his 3betting range and flop shoving range (read, basically any piece of this board or draw) and obviously nutted hands and assumed it's comfortably ok. Actually I only have 32%, and need closer to 43%. With AT I'm a favourite, with QT it's bad, and KT is around breakeven depending on assumptions.

Threw in this hand just to illustrate an adjustment to be made. Villain cbets 100% ip 41/41. Therefore cbets all air and all pieces of this board (extremely depolarised). There are various adjustments to depolarised cbettors; we should apply lots of pressure over multiple streets for example. With value here on the turn, I do something I hardly ever do and lead after a flop cc.

1.38am, going to play another session now and I'll review the big hands here.

You left out the most interesting hand of all imo.
