Good decent session, quite eventful actually without too many stacks changing hands. This first hand VS MattUK, where apparently I got river owned.

OK, I think on the flop, deep, VS this particular player who knows I can be raising any kind of ace here, with a backdoor NFD, is a good spot to bluff raise. I planned to follow up on the turn, but *unfortunetely me hitting a Q slowed me down. My plan at this point should've been to show it down for the same price as my otherwise bluffing, but apparently he bet 89s here on the river as a bluff. Which, must mean he felt I spiked a Q. Hmm.

Here I elected to use my pair of 5s showdown value as semi bluff equity vs an pair lower than an Ace. I didn't know too much about him at this point, obviously this hand is golden for info. I don't know if he'd fold a K on the river... what put me off was his fairly quick calls (dont bluff when you get snapped flop and turn people!) so I'm guessing he wouldn't have.

Other than that, just this hand I guess which is something I talked with Rob about a bit ago, basically VS those 4bet folders just widen the 3bet value range and enjoy 5bet shove= fold heaven.

I'm almost on course in terms of my results monthwise, but I need a couple more decent sessions today. I'm feeling happy, and games seem super good right now.

Session 7, with all the usual topics of focus, coming up.

KQ - seems like it's hard to do much else once you get to the turn. You can't really bet this as you'll get check/raised a decent amount which sucks (unless you think he plays spades like that a lot cuz you'll barrel or something). The only thing I'd say on the river is that a lot of players will check Ax again if they checked the turn, which is probably correct as your range usually beats him or is air. There aren't really many hands at all he should bet on the river I don't think. I guess it depends what you think he does with spades on the flop - well actually, it depends on how wide his flop calling range is. The wider it's filled with non Ax hands the more this becomes a call, particularly given I don't think he'll bet Ax that often on the river. So I guess I think it's a call now, although I wish I could've answered this without knowing the result.

The 85 I like betting the flop and turn. I'd rather bet the turn slightly lower to leave a slightly larger river bet - not much in it though. I think I'd shove this particular river as I can rep so much and I expect AT to even think about folding. Your image is different though etc.

I wish you hadn't included results in 1 because now I don't look awesome when I say call the river. Dodgy nailed it, most Aces check the river. I'm not even sure AT bets the river. Ak commits on the flop and maybe AQ. His river bet just over half pot is indicative of a bluff.

The 85 hand I semi-bluff flop, but take the free on he turn just because we can't determine whether he has an Ace or a king or whether he'd fold a king. If you are specifically trying to fold a king i'd bet bigger.

99 is solid, my comment here is watch who 4bets frequently in this spot and judge who has widened his 4bet value range. I've got in 22 - 77 in this spot also and got owned. I've also got in 88/99 often and constantly found myself behind (@5/10) e.g. 99 is too thin versus a2steaksauce but the nuts versus hankthetank sb v bb specific.
