Rehab

I disappeared after that $8.5k losing day, 9-12 tabling. I was feeling pretty ashamed of myself, and wanted to sulk/ fix it in private before blogging publically about it again. Yesterday, I again peaked for the month, so I guess that means I'm out of rehab.

I can't 12 table, 9 table, or even 6 table. If only I could filter lifetime results for number of tables in HEM I could show you the proof in the pudding, but basically it's something like 4 tables- 8ptbb winner, 6 tables- 1ptbb winner, 9-12 tables- 45ptbb loser.

Since that day, I've been super hot on only playing when my mind's right. What that's made me realise is that my mind is only good for the first 3-4 hours of waking time, after that it's mush. I really have to put this down to physical fitness and my vegetarian diet for the last 4 months or so, so today I went and bought some:

.

Hopefully that helps and means I can play more hours per day, but at the minute I'm happy with the strength of my willpower stopping me from playing more.

What I've found is that when I'm concentrating tons I tend to play nittier PF, but far far more aggro post. I've been jamming tons of turns and rivers. Some hands:

Overall a disappointing month in terms of raw results, but I feel that the $8.5k day was a real turning point/ waking up moment for me and I'm confident of doing well in the last few days and hitting the ground running on the way to a stupendous March.........

OK so in order I....

Hate the 43 you have like zero outs and what is to stop him having a J or a boat in his range?

I despise the AQ - the hands that fold are ones you are mostly ahead of anyway, or would fold to a DB. You chose the most expensive bluff option and it is entirely possible he has a T.

I really love the AK and I really like the A6, but less so than the AK mostly because of the board texture.

Hey Dan, thanks for the invite. Don't worry too much about trying to multitable a lot of tables. I used to play 4 tables for the longest time, then gradually increased...going to 6, then 8, 10, 12, etc. It gets easier w/ time I think. I basically practiced playing an extra table or two until it came more natural and my skill eventually caught up w/ all the tables...although you do face a diminishing return w/ the more tables you play (but maybe the hrly goes up).

I gave to my dog some fish oil pills like the ones you take.

I agree with Chris about the 43s hand but I think you had some reads about his range of betting so small on the river.

About the AQ hand I think you can get some folds from medium pairs that didn't feel like stacking off pf, also you get folds from a lot of AJ, QJ, J9 that decided to float and didn't take the free cards so I think it's fine..

The AK hand is pretty standard..

I don't really like the A6s hand..
