Session 2

Played less well than session 1, but in spots where I can almost immediately identify the problems and ensure I don't repeat them. I was $1400 down at one point, brought it back to ~-$250.

Villain is Scansion on 2p2. He recently made a really light call down vs me (99 on T82ss 2 2 to my UTGr and 3way cbet) which suggests that he doesn't rate me that highly and/or must think that my bets and raises are somewhat polarised. With this in mind, I go for a raise/ get in on this flop. Thoughts?

I think I have a pretty solid overall read on Z8ldred these days. He doesn't bluff 3bet for starters, so my implied odds PF are fine. His PF range consists of JJ+, AK. Also, he gives up flops often, especially OOP. So all things considered, he surely has JJ-KK here. Now, Z8 is not a player you want to make a habit of bluffing, he's extremely call happy to say the least. But, I couldn't really forgive myself for not overshoving this.

Hand 1: I might well have just 3bet/5bet versus him. Flop is obviously fine, but the reason he called down light in that hand isn't because of what he thinks of you, it is because he is a showdown monkey.

Hand 2: You pretty much said my thoughts here. Not a player you want to bluff. Extremely call happy.I doubt he took more than 4seconds to call this. If you really wanted to bluff him you should of bet like 100 on the turn. You can't rep the Ace and a flush draw missed and you are bluffy is all Z8eldred sees.

What's this about you not going to the Irish?
